We’ve made the blade of the bat slightly shorter. Not only does this of reduce the size, but it takes crucial weight out of the bat, without losing any power. The handle is super short as opposed to the standard short handle – again taking weight out of the bat but also meaning a better pick-up, balance and better hand. Speed.
Design-wise, the Gem’s quality speaks for itself. The blue and white decals will be desired across the cricketing spectrum, with imposing stickers which make the bat feel wide when looking down the spine.
The 5 Star Lite verison of the Gem cricket bat is even lighter, coming with a clean face to keep the weigh to between 2lb5oz to 2lb08oz.
